Yale Regional Preceptor Workshop Friday, October 11, 2013

Precepting is a valued and significant contribution to the future of excellent health care. Optimize your precepting experience at the Preceptor Workshop Friday, October 11, 9:30am - 5:00pm.  This annual workshop presented by the Yale University School of Midwifery is the perfect way to get the most out of precepting. Prepare to precept or hone your current skills, whether you're a novice or a pro. Tailored for midwives but perfect for all APRN's and women's health providers, this workshop will help you make the most of your investment preparing and supporting future colleagues. 

Practicing providers as well as students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Friday Movie Night featuring Ina May at 6pm

Movie night is Friday evening after the workshop with a cash bar opening at 4:30. Pizza and popcorn arrive at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:30. BIRTH STORY: INA MAY GASKIN & THE FARM MIDWIVES tells the story of counterculture heroine Ina May Gaskin and her spirited friends, who began delivering each other’s babies in 1970, on a caravan of hippie school buses, headed to a patch of rural Tennessee land.
